About Roots

Our Surf Camp and Yoga Retreat is located in a small fishing village called Gerupuk in the South of Lombok, less than a 5 minute walk to the ocean and starting point to 5 of the best surf spots in the South of Lombok.

At our surf camp we not only teach you how to surf, but have fun sharing waves while giving you the tools to become a great surfer.

If you are looking for a place where you can get individualized surf lessons in small groups with lots of surf theory and surf analysis on screens and whiteboards, you have come to the right place. For now, you can check in at Roots Surfcamp & Yoga Retreat any day of the week, however, from 1 September 2024 we will switch to a fixed check-in day, which will be Sunday.

Note: Please be advised that our theoretical focus is on shortboarding and not specifically on longboard techniques.
