Roots is a unique surf camp & yoga retreat offering surf and yoga packages located in the small fisher village Gerupuk, Lombok.
Known as one of the best places to learn surf in the world cause of its gentle waves, Lombok has some of the best reef
breaks and most consistent swell.

If you are looking for a tropical surf camp where you can fully realize your surfing potential in a professional way, you have come to the right place. Good to know is that we are definitely not a party surf camp. Our focus is to get the best out of you within a week, which unfortunately doesn't work if you're hungover.

For now, you can check in at Roots Surfcamp & Yoga Retreat any day of the week, but from 1 September 2024 we will be switching to a fixed check-in day, which will be Sunday.

About Us

Stay With Us

With only 5 private, en-suite bungalows, Roots Surf & Yoga is a truly small and exclusive retreat. We have no more than 6 guests per week and can therefore accommodate your individual wishes. Each bungalow is decorated with love and is styled boho-chic. You can refresh yourself in our pool or make yourself comfortable on the day bed. The minimum stay at our surf and yoga retreat is 7 nights with one of our packages. If you would like to stay with us for less time, contact us by email and we will find a solution (we make exceptions from 4 nights). For now, you can check-in at Roots Surfcamp & Yoga Retreat any day of the week, but from 1 September 2024 we will be switching to a fixed check-in day, which will be Sunday.
